🌿 A Beginning Rooted in Redemption
I didn’t set out to start a company. I set out to survive.
Harmony Life was born from a season I never expected—a season marked by deep sorrow, trauma therapy, spiritual warfare, and complicated grief. But it was also a season of healing, forgiveness, and an increasingly intimate relationship with my Abba Father. Through it all, I discovered healing is possible, Jesus and praying friends make all the difference, and relationships—no matter how complicated—don’t end with human death. The promise of Heaven means perfect love for all eternity.
In my valley, I drew closer to God than ever before. I clung to His promises, even when they felt distant. I immersed myself in worship and leaned on prayer warriors when I didn’t have words of my own. And through every tear, I held onto this truth: God doesn’t waste our pain. He doesn’t waste our tears. I believed He would use my story - that He would build something beautiful from the ashes.
So I began to pray—not for escape, but for purpose. I asked Him to show me what He wanted to do with my journey. As He began to reveal pieces of His plan, I realized He has been preparing me for this for over thirty years.
Harmony Life Co. is that answer.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in family relations and child development. After a decade in the workforce, my priorities changed with the birth of my first son. I stepped away from my full-time job, and for the last twenty years, I have assumed those degrees had served their purpose. A few years after I left my full-time job, my aunt approached me about working for her part-time. She needed bookkeeping and administrative help in her small business and wanted me to work for her. After (respectfully) arguing that I didn't know the first thing about bookkeeping or the business world, she convinced me she would teach me everything I needed to know, and I could take my son to work with me. That was in 2008 and I was pregnant with my second baby. Seventeen years (and one more baby) later I still work for her. My kids have grown up going to the office with me, and I have learned more about running a business than I ever dreamed possible. It turns out God wasn’t finished with me, or with my education. When He laid Harmony Life on my heart I began a Professional Life Coach certification program. When I look back at my education, work, and even my life experiences, I am in awe of how God has been sewing together my seasons - some of them tattered and torn - for all these years, and now something beautiful is being revealed. Â
Harmony Life is not just a brand—it is a purpose.
It’s a place for spiritual and life coaching, rooted in truth, resilience, and the kind of hope that only comes from God. It’s for anyone walking through hard seasons, wondering if healing is possible. (It is, I’m proof.) It’s for the weary, the rebuilding, the faithful, and the curious.
It’s also for the joyful, the healed, and the strong.
Harmony Life is for everyone.
No matter what season you are in, this is a space for growth, encouragement, guidance, and grace. A place to love and be loved.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing daily blog and social posts to build the Harmony Life community. I am also growing my email list so we can stay connected as things unfold. I would love for you to join the list and to share our website and Facebook page with your friends and family. I believe God is going to do big things. And while I am admittedly a little nervous, I’m over-the-moon excited to see what He has planned.
In December, I will launch the subscription box side of Harmony Life, with the first boxes going out in January. The initial line is called “Adulting 101 – The Life Skills Series”, designed for young adults navigating independence. Each month will focus on a different topic and include faith-based coaching tools, devotionals, and practical resources to nourish the spirit and build lifelong habits.
I have so many ideas for future subscription lines, and even a podcast on the horizon! I can’t wait to share each new development with you, so don’t forget to join the email list. You never know what God is going to do next!
Your Harmony Life is waiting, and I am so glad you’re here!
Blessings,
Courtney
